Ranked Third On DiversityInc’s Top Ten Companies For LGBT employees
NEW YORK – Last night, DiversityInc announced that Time Warner has been named to its annual “Top 50 Companies for Diversity” list for the sixth consecutive year.
DiversityInc recognized Time Warner's strong diversity recruitment and talent retention efforts. Noting that the company has strong support from the top, DiversityInc also highlighted the Diversity Performance Goals program, implemented by Time Warner Chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes, which ties 30% of executive bonus compensation to diversity results.
“As a company dedicated to telling the best stories to audiences all over the world, Time Warner places great importance on diversity both in terms of who we are and what we do,” said Jeff Bewkes, Chairman and CEO of Time Warner Inc. “We’re proud of our commitment to cultivating new voices and talent and bringing them into the spotlight.”
Lisa Garcia Quiroz, Time Warner’s Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Responsibility said, “Attracting diverse talent and creating an inclusive workplace that promotes opportunity for all employees, regardless of cultural background or sexual orientation, has long been a hallmark for Time Warner. Being a company comprised of many diverse voices gives us the ability to speak to and engage with diverse audiences all across the world.”
DiversityInc's mission is to bring education and clarity to the business benefits of diversity. The DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list began in 2001, at the same time many corporations were beginning to understand the business value of diversity-management initiatives. The 2015 Top 50 Companies for Diversity results are featured on DiversityInc.com and in DiversityInc magazine.
