DULLES, Virginia and SAN JOSE, Calif., September 14, 1998 - America Online, the world's leading Internet online service, and Sony Electronics Inc. today announced an expanded marketing agreement to feature AOL on the desktop of all Sony personal computers in the U.S. and Canada. Users of Sony VAIO MicroTowers and Notebooks in the U.S. and Canada will now be able to access pre-installed AOL software by simply clicking on the AOL icon displayed prominently on the computer's 'desktop' or main screen.
