Hard Rock Records, the joint-venture label formed by RhinoRecords and Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc., has announced the releaseof HARD ROCK CAFE: PARTY CLASSICS and HARD ROCK CAFE: MODERN BLUES. Thelatest installments of this highly successful series hit the streets onOctober 27.
Featured on both releases is a superstar line up of hit tracks that definethe genre. Additionally, the first 100,000 CDs will include a coupon for afree souvenir (with purchase of Hard Rock Cafe merchandise) redeemable atany domestic Hard Rock Cafe location. Both PARTY CLASSICS and MODERN BLUESwill be sold at retail outlets nationwide, through Rhino Direct at1-800-432-0020 and via U.S. Hard Rock Cafes.
Anyone who turned on a radio, went to a bar, or passed though a frat housein the 1970s or '80s will recognize the high-energy hits on HARD ROCK CAFE:PARTY CLASSICS. Ten of the 16 tracks made the Billboard Top 10 between1971 and 1988, including such turn-it-up tunes as Robert Palmer's "AddictedTo Love," Foreigner's "Hot Blooded," Tone Loc's "Wild Thing," Bad Company's"Can't Get Enough," and Sweet's "Fox On The Run."
