Adam W. Rosen has been promoted to Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITP), it was announced today by Jeffrey Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television.
Rosen moves up from Director, Legal & Business Affairs, a post he's held since 1997. In his new position, Rosen will have an expanded role in the production arm's legal and business affairs, including negotiating talent and producer contracts, and structuring and negotiating the various co-production and financing arrangements for all of WBITP's projects. Based in Burbank, Rosen will continue to report to Ronald W. Miele, Senior Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, and work closely with Catherine Malatesta, Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. International Television Production.
"Adam has made tremendous contributions to the operations of the International Television Production group," said Miele. "As the division has grown, so have his responsibilities. This is a very well-deserved promotion."
"Our production activities are ever-increasing," said Malatesta. "Adam's expertise in legal and business matters as well as in contract negotiations will be integral to our continued success."
Rosen joined Warner Bros. in 1996 as an attorney for the newly formed production arm of Warner Bros. International Television. Prior to that, he worked as an entertainment and corporate attorney at the law firms of Proskauer Rose LLP and Gipson Hoffman & Pancione. He earned his law degree in 1991 from UCLA School of Law, and did his undergraduate work at Brandeis University.
