TBS, Inc. Acquires Broadcast Network Window of Lost In Space

Turner Broadcasting System Inc., (TBS, Inc.) has acquired the broadcast network window rights to Lost In Space, the galactic thriller from New Line Cinema, it was announced today by Bradley J. Siegel, president, Turner Network Television (TNT), and Turner Classic Movies, and Bill Burke, president, TBS Superstation.

Lost In Space, starring William Hurt, Gary Oldham, Heather Graham, Mimi Rogers and Matt LeBlanc, knocked Titanic out of first place at the box office when it opened on April 3. It joins the more than 80 other top motion pictures that TBS Inc. has acquired in the broadcast network window for TBS Superstation and TNT. Others include As Good As It Gets, L.A. Confidential, U.S. Marshals, Wag The Dog, The Wedding Singer, The English Patient, Fargo, Shine, The Game, Contact, Michael, Conspiracy Theory, Evita, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Dumb and Dumber and The Shawshank Redemption.
