March 31, 1998

America's most beloved weatherman, Al Roker, makes an animated cameo appearance as himself in an upcoming two-part special ("Little Girl Lost") of "Superman," the hit animated series based on DC Comic's timeless superhero. Both half-hours will premiere back to back on Saturday, May 2, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Kids' WB!

The real-life Roker provides the voice of the animated Roker, as he delivers a weather report calling for a glorious day in the Nation's heartland. Despite Roker's prediction of perfect weather, Superman (along with Super Girl) faces a stormy situation when he finds himself up against a powerful and destructive group of teens, the Intergang.

"Superman" is produced and animated by Warner Bros. Television Animation, under the creative supervision of producers Alan Burnett, Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, for Kids' WB!, The WB Television Network's children's programming service.
