Outnumbers the Competition in Its March 21 Debut on HBO, Outperforming All Four Broadcast Networks in HBO Homes

The HBO NYC drama ALWAYS OUTNUMBERED outscored its competition when it debuted SATURDAY, MARCH 21 (9:00-10:45 p.m. ET), topping all four broadcast networks. The exclusive presentation received a 9.6 rating/16 share, outperforming ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX. ABC received a 4.5/7, CBS a 6.0/10, NBC a 5.8/10 and FOX a 5.7/9 in HBO homes, according to Nielsen ratings data.*

A story of hope and redemption, ALWAYS OUTNUMBERED introduces a new Walter Mosley character -- Socrates Fortlow, a black ex-con living in the heart of downtown L.A. A man who lives with a violent past and a difficult present, Socrates is determined to make peace with the world -- and himself. Laurence Fishburne stars in the HBO NYC drama, which also stars Bill Cobbs, Natalie Cole, Laurie Metcalf, Bill Nunn and Cicely Tyson. The film is directed by Michael Apted from a screenplay by Walter Mosley.

Other playdates for ALWAYS OUTNUMBERED include: March 29 (10:30 p.m.) and April 2 (11:50 p.m.), 6 (10:30 p.m.) and 15 (11:00 p.m.).
