Maureen Coakley Appointed Vice President, Press and Artist Development, The Elektra Entertainment Group

Maureen Coakley has been appointed Vice President, Press and Artist Development, for the Elektra Entertainment Group, Sr. Vice President, Press and Artist Development, Sherry Ring Ginsberg announced. "Maureen brings a wide range of experience, as well as the kind of maturity and vision that her new role at Elektra demands," stated Ms. Ginsberg. "The capabilities she has displayed both inside and outside the record company environment will be a welcome asset to our department. The entire company joins me in welcoming Maureen to the Elektra family."Previously Ms. Coakley was Senior Director of National Publicity at EMI Records. From 1992 to 1995 Ms. Coakley was Director of Publicity at Rolling Stone Magazine. From 1988 to 1992 Ms. Coakley was a Publicist at Susan Blond Inc., where she began her music business career.
