Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) and Time Inc. New Media today announced an online chat alliance, combining the power and resources of the Time Inc. and Yahoo! brands. Hosted by Yahoo!'s popular Yahoo! Chat service, Time Inc.'s series of weekly chats will give users the opportunity to talk online with a variety of celebrities and top experts in the finance, news, and parenting fields. These lively Yahoo! Chat discussions will be conducted by leading Time Inc. properties including People.com, Time.com, Money.com and ParentTime.com.
Users can get the scoop on their favorite celebrities in the People auditorium on Yahoo! Chat, get sound financial advice from a leading expert in the Money auditorium, share their thoughts on the crisis in Iraq in the Time auditorium, or get advice on kids and parenting in the ParentTime auditorium.

This dynamic new chat area launched its first event during the "State of the Union Address" with the Time executive editor and veteran political journalist, John Stacks. This was followed shortly by insightful chats with John Dean, a key Watergate figure, and Lawrence Walsh, former Iran Contra Independent Counsel. Victoria's Secrets supermodel Frederique van der Wal will be featured Tuesday, February 10, at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time and sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer will lead a chat on Friday, February 13 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
