Burbank, CA - A charity auction, featuring limited-edition merchandise signed by the stars of The WB's critically acclaimed hit television series SMALLVILLE, will be held on eBay, The World's Online Marketplace(tm), from December 7 - 16, 2002. Bidders can view the items by going to ebay.com and clicking on the "charities" section. Proceeds will be donated to the charities ChildrenNow an organization that helps poor and at-risk children around the nation, and The National Wildlife Federation a conservation group dedicated to protecting wildlife, wild places and the environment. Exclusive, limited-edition SMALLVILLE merchandise to be up for bid on eBay includes a class ring--complete with its infamous red center stone--worn by Clark Kent on the show; Smallville High leather varsity jackets, each signed by a series star; and Smallville High T-shirts, baseball caps and backpacks, each signed by Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum and Kristin Kreuk.

Blending realism with adventure, the exciting action series SMALLVILLE reinterprets the Superman mythology from its roots, taking the classic characters of the enduring Superman franchise back to high school. Between the boy Clark Kent thought he was and the man he is destined to become lie the stories of SMALLVILLE. SMALLVILLE stars Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, Sam Jones III as Pete Ross, Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan, John Glover as Lionel Luthor with Annette O'Toole as Martha Kent and John Schneider as Jonathan Kent. The series was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar ("Shanghai Noon"), based on the DC Comics characters. The executive producers are Gough & Millar, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola and Ken Horton. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
