Sports Illustrated Women Increases Circulation Rate Base and Frequency

New York, N.Y.-SPORTS ILLUSTRATED WOMEN will raise its circulation rate base from 400,000 to 500,000, effective with the February issue. The magazine will also publish ten issues in 2003, up from eight in 2002. The announcement was made today by Cleary Simpson, Group Publisher of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED WOMEN and SPORTS ILLUSTRATED FOR KIDS.

"Editor Susan Casey's expansive vision for the magazine has a unique perspective that strongly resonates with a new generation of active women who love to play and travel and whose mantra is 'get the most out of life,'" explains Ms. Simpson. "This new SI Women has won plaudits and pages from advertisers who are coming to know us as the single most targeted media vehicle to reach this dynamic audience of women."
