Time Warner Cable Names Mark Harrad Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications

STAMFORD, CT– Mark A. Harrad has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, it was announced today by Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Lynn Yaeger.

In this role, Harrad will continue to lead the company’s corporate communications function and will take on a larger role in managing government relations and providing strategic analysis to the executive management team on a wide range of communications issues.

“Mark’s successes in promoting business strategy and gaining Time Warner Cable recognition as a technological leader and consumer-centric company are evident in the positive coverage that has been generated,” said Yaeger. “His knowledge of the industry and his ability to provide sound guidance is a valuable asset to the department and the company.”

Before joining Time Warner Cable in 2002 as Vice President of Corporate Communications, Harrad served as Vice President of Public Relations at Turner Broadcasting Sales, Inc. another division of Time Warner Inc. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Corporate Communications at Viacom Inc. from 1992 to 1996. He has also held positions at the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), Home Box Office (HBO) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). He began his career in 1974 as a staff reporter for the former Broadcasting magazine, which is now Broadcasting and Cable.

Harrad currently serves on the executive committee of the Cable Television Public Affairs Association’s (CTPAA) Board of Directors and is a member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM).

He is a 1974 graduate of Boston University’s School of Public Communications and resides in New York City with his wife and daughter.
