AOL UK Launches Radio@AOL Broadband AOL, the leading online interactive services provider, today announced the launch of Radio@AOL Broadband, the online radio service designed exclusively for AOL Broadband members. This product is an integral part of the recently launched Music Channel on the AOL service and is the latest innovation in AOL's online music programming, bringing a whole new way of listening to music online for AOL members. Radio@AOL Broadband, providing a wide range of music choices, has been designed with AOL's renowned convenience and community. More than 80 stations have been grouped by music genres and cover a huge variety of music tastes, such as rock, pop, hip-hop, classical, jazz, inspirational, world music, alternative and electronica. They will also include five UK-programmed stations such as Brit-pop and Brit-classic rock developed specifically by a UK DJ. Its easy-to-use design features play and volume controls, station descriptions, current artist and track information and a convenient buy button that gives members the ability to easily purchase music they are listening to or buy tickets to a concert or gig. Other highlights of the Radio@AOL Broadband product include: *CD-quality audio sound (64 kbps) due to DOLBY AAC technology on more than 80 stations bringing members the best radio listening experience available online *Uninterrupted and 100% commercial-free listening without banner advertising *Much like pre-setting your car radio, with "my pre-sets" members have the ability to further personalise their online experience by saving their own five favourite stations *The option for members to start playing Radio@AOL Broadband whenever they sign-on to AOL with the Auto-Launch feature. In addition, Radio@AOL Broadband will automatically tune into the last station played as they sign on *Radio@AOL Broadband provides an interactive experience enabling members to "Rate this Song".
