TNT's Door to Door Takes Home Six Prime Time Emmys Television's Most-Nominated Movie Rewarded by Academy Voters as Year's Best, with William H. Macy Outstanding Actor Turner Network Television's (TNT) Door to Door, a Johnson & Johnson Spotlight Presentation, was honored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with six prime time Emmy Awards, the most of any program for the year, including Outstanding Made for Television Movie; Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie; Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries Movie or Dramatic Special; and Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or Dramatic Special. The six Emmy wins for Door to Door made it the most-ever for a single program for TNT. The acclaimed TNT Original, starring William H. Macy, had been honored with 12 nominations, making it the most-nominated television movie of the year and helping TNT place as basic cable's best for the second year in a row, with 14 Emmy nominations overall. Previously, Johnson & Johnson Spotlight Presentation Door to Door had been recognized with a Peabody Award and multiple Golden Globe nominations.
