TIME.com Relaunches Video Channel Whether it's following a Qassam rocket hunter in Israel, showing how New York City tracks its rat population or going behind-the-scenes on the USS Lincoln as the crew recites the Gettysburg Address, TIME.com continues to use video intelligently. Now, with the new video page, the increasingly dynamic video content is even easier to dive into. Other new elements include: -- Larger videos: Videos in the new player will be bigger and better, offering viewers the option of watching full screen, high quality HD versions. -- Featured franchises: Videos will be divided into TIME.com feature franchises, such as "Ze Frank," "Acoustic News" and "Family Tech". -- Video sorting: Videos will be sorted under headings like "Most Popular Today," "This Week” and "Last Week," giving viewers the ability to see what everyone else is watching. -- Improved search function: Viewers will be able to search for their favorite videos online, sortby topic and watch related videos. Videos will also be searchable via Google. -- Social media: Videos will be integrated with Twitter, Facebook, Digg and Y! Buzz. -- Faster loading: Videos in the new player will load twice as fast.
