Laura Danford Mandel has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Publicity, Telepictures Productions, it was announced today by Hilary Estey McLoughlin, President, Telepictures Productions.

In her new post, Danford Mandel will continue to oversee the day-to-day publicity activities and overall publicity strategy for all of Telepictures Productions' television series – The Ellen DeGeneres Show, TMZ, The Tyra Banks Show, Extra, Judge Mathis, The Bonnie Hunt Show, The People's Court, and Judge Jeanine Pirro – as well as the online destinations Momlogic.com, TMZ.com and Essence.com (the latter in conjunction with the publicity team at Time Inc.). In addition, Danford Mandel will be involved in the launch of Lopez Tonight, the new late-night talk show with George Lopez, produced by Telepictures and premiering on TBS this November.

Danford Mandel will continue to be responsible for handling Telepictures' trade and consumer publicity, working closely with Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing's publicity team and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution to maintain Telepictures' position as an industry leader.

Danford Mandel was previously Vice President, Publicity. She has been at Telepictures for over 10 years, joining the company in January 1999 as Director, Publicity, for The Rosie O'Donnell Show. Since that time, she has overseen the launches and day-to-day publicity for every Telepictures series.

Before coming to Telepictures, Danford Mandel served as Vice President, East Coast Publicity, of Castle Rock Entertainment. Prior to Castle Rock, she was the Director of Public Relations for Marc Jacobs International.
