Time Warner Honors Employees' Outstanding Volunteer Achievements with 28th Annual Andrew Heiskell Community Service Awards Time Warner Inc. today announced the winners of its 28th annual Andrew Heiskell Community Service Awards. Named for Andrew Heiskell, the late former Chairman and CEO of Time Inc., the awards were presented this afternoon at the Time Warner Center in New York City to six individuals and two teams in recognition of their exceptional community and public service contributions. Jeff Bewkes, Chairman and CEO of Time Warner, said: "We're proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of this year's award winners whose generosity and compassion have made a real difference in the communities in which we do business. Their dedicated public service underscores the spirit of volunteerism that has always been a hallmark of our company.” In addition to the six individual honorees, Time Warner presented its annual Community Service Team Award, which recognizes a group of employees that exemplifies Time Warner's values of responsibility and teamwork. This year, Time Warner also presented for the first time a Business Citizenship Award to recognize a strategic business initiative that adds value to the company and benefits the community. Each Andrew Heiskell Community Service Award winner receives a $3,000 donation to the nonprofit organization or organizations of his or her choice and a personal honorarium of $2,000. For both the Community Service Team Award and the Business Citizenship Award, Time Warner makes a $10,000 donation to the nonprofit organization or organizations of the winners' choice.
