Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Names Jim Brehm Senior Vice President, Sales, Canada, Latin America and Asia

Warner Bros. International Television Distribution has named highly respected international distribution executive Jim Brehm to the post of Senior Vice President, Sales, for Canada, Latin America and Asia. The announcement was made today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television.

In his new position at WBITD, Brehm will be responsible for the licensing of all Warner Bros.'series, motion pictures and animation to pay television and free television in Canada, Asia/Pacific and Latin America, as well as to basic subscription, ad-supported and subscription video-on-demand (AVOD and SVOD) services in those regions. In this role, he succeeds Malcolm Dudley-Smith, who was recently named to the newly created post of Executive Vice President, Branded Services – Business Management, overseeing WBITD’s expansion into AVOD and SVOD channels around the globe. Brehm will be based in Burbank, Calif., and will report to Schlesinger.

Brehm comes to WBITD from The Walt Disney Company, where he spent the last two years as Senior Vice President, Sales, for Disney ABC International Television (DAIT). In that role, he had oversight of pay, free and on demand licensing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining DAIT, Brehm worked at Paramount for 17 years, most recently as Executive Vice President, International Television, Paramount Pictures Worldwide TV Distribution. He began his career in the entertainment division of professional services firm Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
