'Tis The Season to Be Jolly on The WB as Network Delivers Best Time Period Demographics in More Than a Year The WB rang in the holiday spirit with holiday specials on Friday that were chock full of cheer and laughter - and the network's highest season ratings in key demographics in more than a year. At 8:00 p.m. ET, all The Whos in Whoville were watching The WB as DR. SEUSS': HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS delivered the network's highest ratings in adults 18-34 (2.2/9) since September 27, 2002. The classic favorite also ranked #1 in its time period in adults 18-34 (2.2/9), women 18-34 (2.8/10) and women 12-34 (2.4/9) as well as #2 in persons 12-34 (1.9/7), men 12-34 (1.3/6), men 18-34 (1.6/7), adults 18-49 (2.0/7) and women 18-49 (2.4/8). A SCOOBY-DOO CHRISTMAS, at 8:30 p.m. ET, posted the best ratings in the time period among adults 18-34 (2.1/8) since February 16, 2001, in women 18-34 (2.7/9, since September 19, 2003) and in men 18-34 (1.6/6, since January 12, 2001). The Scooby Gang scored in the time period as the #1 program in women 18-34 (2.7/9) and women 12-34 (2.3/8) and took the #2 spot in persons 12-34 (1.9/7), adults 18-34 (2.1/8), men 18-34 (1.6/6) and men 12-34 (1.5/6). Everyone's favorite Great Dane also achieved triple-digit gains compared to the parallel time period a year ago in total viewers (5.2 million, +102%). Hit comedy REBA also performed strongly, leading the network as the #2 program in its time period among persons 12-34 (1.5/5), women 12-34 (1.9/7) and men 18-34 (1.1/4). Contact Info: |
