- Executive positions at Axel Springer, including serving as a member of the Board of Management; Head of the Newspapers Division; Head of Electronic Media/Multimedia; and Editor in Chief of the national daily newspaper, “Die Welt” – 1998 to 2002.

- Editor in Chief of “Hamburger Morgenpost” in Hamburg – 1996 to1998

- Editor in Chief of “Wochenpost” in Berlin – 1994 to 1996

- Executive positions at Bertelsmann – 1992-1993.

• Company Directorship: Mr. Döpfner is an Independent Director. He has been a Director of the Company since May 2006.
