- Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical and Medical Products, American Home Products Corporation (Wyeth) – 1995-1997.

- Senior Vice President, American Home Products Corporation – 1993-1995.

- President, Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories – 1989-1993.

- Various positions at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis) including heading its U.S. pharmaceuticals business – 1972-1989

• Company Directorship: Mr. Hassan is an Independent Director. He has been a Director of the Company since October 2009.
