Time Inc. is the largest magazine publisher in the U.S. and one of the leading publishers in the U.K. and Mexico. Time Inc.’s popular brands and successful franchises extend to online, television, cable video on demand, satellite radio, mobile devices, events and branded products.

Nationally and globally, Time Inc. titles make their mark. Each month, one out of every two American adults reads a Time Inc. magazine, and more than one out of seven who are online visit a Time Inc. website. Every minute, more than 100 Time Inc. titles are sold in the U.S. People magazine reaches more than 40 million adults with every issue, the most of any U.S. consumer magazine. The Sports Illustrated annual Swimsuit Edition franchise, which includes the magazine, video, calendars and website, is the most profitable of any single magazine-branded franchise. Worldwide, Time Inc. magazines, including IPC Media in the U.K. and Grupo Editorial Expansión in Mexico, are read nearly 250 million times each month by approximately 150 million adults.

Through Time Inc.’s aggressive digital initiatives, the company has experienced great success online; its websites attract more than 26 million unique visitors each month and Time Inc.'s digital properties are among the top 20 largest media properties online, ranked at #17 (as of March 2008 - Nielsen). CNNMoney.com is the largest business and financial website among vertical sites and the fourth-largest overall after the portal channels. SI.com received more than 228 million page views in the month following the launch of the 2008 Swimsuit edition. In March of 2008, SI.com launched the Vault, a free comprehensive digitized history of the modern sports era since the debut of Sports Illustrated in 1954, and attracted 1.7 million unique visitors in the first month. People.com continues to lead in entertainment news, with more than 8.6 million unique visitors a month (March 2008, Media Metrix), and leads in engagement, with visitors spending on average nearly 30 minutes on the site.

Time Inc. brands have also had great growth in the past year with online video. For the first time in red-carpet history, a magazine-branded online site, People.com, secured a branded broadcast platform on the red carpet at both the SAG Awards (January 27, 2008) and the Grammy Awards (February 10, 2008). No other magazine brand has ever received such exposure. In January, CNNMoney.com launched a new broadband initiative, giving viewers approximately 30 originally produced for the web, broadcast-quality videos per day. Content highlights include daily segments, weekly shows, monthly programming, and annual specials, with a team of producers and reporters dedicated to producing online original daily business and finance news and feature video. In March of 2008, the site generated almost 20 million video streams.

Time Inc. received eight honors in the 2008 Magazine Publishers of America Digital Awards including: TIME.com - Web site of the Year in the News and Finance category, SI.com -Web site of the Year in the Sports category, MySI -second place in the Best Web-only Tool category, People.com -Web site of the Year in the Entertainment category, EW.com -second place for Web site of the Year in the Entertainment category, InStyle.com -second place in the Web site of the Year in the Fashion category and also recognized for its mobile strategy, and FanNation.com -Best Online Community.
