Holly's Story
Credit Analyst, Turner Broadcasting
Holly Reid learned of her current position as a result of having set up a search query on the career site, allowing the database to proactively send all job openings that aligned with her career interests.
Holly was a Senior Financial Analyst supporting Network Operations and Turner Studios for just short of seven years. She led and managed several internal projects which exposed her to different areas, helped her learn about the business and strengthened her project management skills. Over the course of her career as a Senior Financial Analyst, Holly sought to learn more about the Internal Audit department. She did her homework on the department, networked with those who had previously worked in the group, and waited for the best opportunity. And it came.
Holly is now a Senior Internal Auditor with Time Warner's Shared Services, Internal Audit department. In that role, she manages and executes operational, financial, and compliance audits for Turner Broadcasting, Inc. business units. Holly says she had all the tools and information necessary for her transition, and notes that Time Warner's recruiters "were very knowledgeable and worked to ensure she had a smooth transition."
WHAT SETS TIME WARNER APART
Time Warner is different from other places where I've worked in that I've joined an organization with a growing international focus. I look forward to the unique opportunities international exposure affords me and being a valuable contributor as Time Warner looks to expand and cultivate its current international reach.
MEMORIES THAT LAST A LIFETIME
A memorable moment at Time Warner would be a recent experience of mentoring middle school students with Phil Kent, CEO - Turner Broadcasting, Inc., at Turner Volunteer Day 2010. It was impressive to volunteer side-by-side with Turner's CEO, and to witness a shared commitment and enthusiasm towards today's youth.
