We know you’re eagerly anticipating the release of Justice League later this fall. While you (patiently) wait, Warner Bros. is offering a thrilling VR experience that allows you to step into the shoes of iconic DC Super Heroes Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, and of course, Wonder Woman.
The Justice League VR Experience is rolling out in stages, the first of which we offer you today: Justice League VR: Join the League- Gillette Edition.
This demo version is an interactive, gaze-based experience that has up to 90 seconds of gameplay per character. It’s available now for free download at http://justiceleaguethemovie.com/vr. A cardboard or equivalent VR viewer is required to play.
Fanboys and girls attending New York Comic Con October 5-8 will get a sneak peak of the HTC Vive version of the experience with the Justice League VR: Join the League – New York Comic Con Edition. Visitors to Justice League's booth can use the HTC Vive’s controllers for an enhanced version of the Super Hero simulations.
On the film’s opening day, the IMAX VR: Justice League Experience will also debut at IMAX VR Centres nationwide. This totally immersive and completely interactive adventure will test if you have mastered your Super Hero powers. Intrigued? Find an IMAX VR Centre near you now.
Last but certainly not least, Justice League Virtual Reality: The Complete Experience arrives in December, just in time for the holidays. Featuring additional modes and expanded missions, this home-based VR experience supports controllers, spatial tracking and room scale tracking (depending on the platform) for full immersion. Targeted platforms include HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung GearVR, Google DayDream and Sony PSVR (subject to change).
Justice League—starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Raymond Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller—is in theaters everywhere November 17.
