The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the 38th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards nominees yesterday, and HBO and CNN Worldwide each received 18 nominations. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in broadcast journalism and documentary filmmaking aired on national television or streamed on the internet.
