The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors announced today the final honorees for its 2016 Peabody 30. CNN and HBO are among the recipients of the award, in the news, entertainment and documentary categories.

CNN was recognized for three news packages featuring on-the-ground reporting from the Middle East: “ISIS in Iraq and Syria,” “Undercover in Syria” and “Battle for Mosul.”

HBO's Mavis!—the story of soul music legend and civil rights icon Mavis Staples— was honored in the documentary category.

HBO also received two of the seven awards in the entertainment category for Veep and Beyonce’s visual album Lemonade. Watch a clip about all the entertainment awardees below.

The Peabody Awards are considered the Pulitzer Prize for electronic media, which includes television, radio and the web. The Peabody Board of Jurors is made up of media industry professionals, media scholars, critics and journalists. To win a Peabody, a program must receive unanimous approval of all the members of the Board of Jurors. Learn more about the Peabody Awards here.

The 76th Annual Peabody Awards Ceremony, hosted by Rashida Jones, will take place in New York City on May 20. It will air on PBS and Fusion June 2 at 9 p.m. ET.
