The Wonka Chocolate Factory is open and ready to welcome you.

Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory— a new musical from Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures—begins previews at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City today.

The production features your favorite songs from the original movie, like "Pure Imagination," plus a new score from the Grammy and Tony-winning songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

And for those of you with a sweet tooth (i.e. all of us), Dylan’s Candy Bar will be operating not one but three concessions at the theater for all your confectionery needs.

It’s going to be splendopulous, so get your (golden) ticket now!

Can’t wait to get to the theater? Watch actor Christian Borle (Willy Wonka) and director Jack O’Brien chat about oompa loompa fittings (among other things) in this behind-the-scenes look at the making of Charlie.
