Cartoon Network has partnered with Chuck E. Cheese’s to amplify their annual award-winning initiative: "Stop Bullying: Speak Up."

Starting center for the Atlanta Hawks Dwight Howard joined Cartoon Network at an Alpharetta, Georgia Chuck E. Cheese’s yesterday, where local school children from the greater Atlanta area listened to the NBA superstar stress the importance of being an active friend in bullying prevention. The Atlanta native also led the kids in taking the "Stop Bullying: Speak Up" pledge. The kids were provided pizza, tokens for games and a "Stop Bullying: Speak Up" pledge certificate.

Now in its seventh year, the multi-platform, pro-social campaign was created by Cartoon Network with experts in the field to raise awareness, build partnerships and empower young people to speak up against bullying safely and effectively. This year's partnership, which kicked off this week, coincides with National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month and runs throughout the month of October.
