Grab your cape, Batman Day returns on Saturday, September 17 with Bat-centric promotions, giveaways, and signings in honor of the Caped Crusader's remarkable legacy around the globe. This marks the third year for Batman Day, which was originally conceived to honor the Dark Knight's 75th Anniversary.
First up: Fans can receive a free copy of Batman #1 from DC Universe: Rebirth. Written by Tom King and illustrated by David Finch, Matt Banning and Jordie Bellaire, the book can be picked up at participating comic shops, bookstores and other retailers nationwide. This year, major partners such as Pottery Barn Kids, Barnes & Noble and Books-a-Million will participate in the giveaway, hosting fun-filled events nationwide for kids, families and lifelong fans. Six Flags amusement parks across the U.S. will also distribute free copies of Batman #1.
At Midtown Comics Downtown in New York City, DC legends Frank Miller, Tom King, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo will participate in book signings and meet-and-greets.
