Fresh off earning rave reviews at the 43rd annual Telluride Film Festival -- and with more pouring in -- Warner Bros. Pictures' highly-anticipated Sully soared in New York this week, reuniting the real-life Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger with Hollywood royalty both at the premiere and at a special event held aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.

On Wednesday, a special event was held at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, where Robin Roberts moderated a discussion with Eastwood, Hanks, Sullenberger and co-star Aaron Eckhart.

The event followed Sully's New York premiere on Tuesday, where Academy Award winners Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks walked the red carpet alongside Sullenberger himself at Lincoln Center's Allice Tully Hall in New York City. Located near 66th Street, the premiere was held mere blocks from where the "Miracle on the Hudson" occurred in 2009, when Sullenberger safely landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River near 48th Street after bird strikes led to engine failure.

Check out some photos from both events below, and catch the remarkable true story of Sully as it arrives in theaters nationwide today.
