CNN is marking an historic two-week period for the network, completing coverage of the Republican and Democratic national conventions with significant ratings wins for both.

CNN dominated both its cable news competitors and the big three broadcast networks on each night of the Democratic National Convention. With more than 7.5 million total viewers during the final night of coverage, CNN outpaced its closest competitor by 42%, and led the three major broadcast networks by at least 95%. CNN Digital saw 17 million unique visitors and 11 million video starts on day four, with seven million unique visitors to CNN Politics.

This followed the network's then-historic ratings for the Republican National Convention (RNC), when CNN beat NBC, ABC and CBS for the first time ever during the broadcast networks' prime time coverage of the convention's final night. CNN Digital properties drew 18 million multiplatform visitors during the RNC's final day, including seven million via CNN Politics.

Visit CNN Press Room for full numbers and CNN Politics for continuing 2016 coverage. Congratulations to the entire CNN team for this truly bipartisan success.
