This week, Warner Bros. Television took steps to bring two highly-anticipated series to another leading market.

First up: U.K. Amazon Prime members can now stream the new rock-and-roll comedy drama Roadies ahead of its television debut on Monday, July 11. The first two episodes are available to Prime members now, and subsequent episodes will be released each week the day after they air in the U.S. Produced by Warner Bros. Television and Bad Robot Productions, the series comes from Academy Award winner Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous) and centers on day-to-day life with a successful rock tour -- putting the band itself in the background to focus on the colorful characters who follow them.

“Joining shows like The Man in the High Castle, Transparent, Mr. Robot, Preacher and the upcoming Clarkson, Hammond and May show, The Grand Tour, Roadies is a great addition to our lineup and we’re sure that Prime customers are going to love it,” said Brad Beale, Vice President of Worldwide Television Acquisition for Amazon.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Lethal Weapon TV series has been picked up by the U.K. broadcaster ITV and will join the network's primetime lineup this fall. Based on the hit movie franchise, the show tells the story of the iconic detective duo of Riggs (played by Clayne Crawford, Rectify) and Murtaugh (played by Emmy nominee Damon Wayans, In Living Color) as they work the beat in modern-day Los Angeles.

In short, it looks like both series will be making themselves right at home across the pond.
