Yesterday, Time Warner joined the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to present a very special event featuring two of CNN’s biggest names: "Anderson Cooper & Anthony Bourdain: Creative Inspiration".

Time Warner Chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes pointed out that Time Warner has featured talent from across the company at Cannes in previous years, and was excited to this year turn the spotlight on CNN.  "We try to harness creativity and talent at our company to create brands and characters and experiences that really engage with people all over the world,” Bewkes said from the stage in the Lumiere Theatre. “The two gentlemen I have the honor of introducing have exactly that kind of connection to their audiences at CNN, and it’s no coincidence that this is happening at a time when CNN has really solidified its place as the leading global news brand."

The two regaled a packed house with stories of where they draw their inspiration, and how best to enjoy the culinary delights of the world's farthest corners. The conversation that ensued was both inspiring and provocative, reflecting the rapport Cooper and Bourdain have — but this wasn’t the first time this "bromance" has blossomed in the public eye.

The Festival is an annual milestone of ideas and innovation, and 2016 has proven no exception. Check out the photos below for a glimpse of the conversation between two of CNN's biggest attractions.
