The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced winners of its 43nd Annual Daytime Emmy and Creative Awards over the weekend, and both Warner Bros. and Turner programming was honored.
Warner Bros' The Ellen DeGeneres Show took home two awards, including Outstanding Interactive Media – Enhancement to a Daytime Program or Series and Outstanding Promotional Announcement – Image. Ellen wasn’t the only WBTV winner; Extra received an award for Outstanding Entertainment News Program.
Turner also scored an Emmy for Café CNN which won under Outstanding Morning Program in Spanish.
The 43nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were presented Sunday at L.A.’s Westin Bonaventure in California. The awards recognize individuals and programs for outstanding achievement in daytime television production. For more information and a complete list of winners, click here.
