In April, Time Warner Internal Audit held its 15th annual Global Conference at Time Warner Center in New York.   Four days of internal training, networking, and presentations from industry leaders and company executives kicked off with the presentation of the 2015 Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Award of Excellence, which is awarded annually to those whose contributions consistently exemplify the critical behaviors and skills necessary to provide world class internal audit services.

This year, Emma Neillie, Senior Manager, received the CAE Award of Excellence.  Emma is based in Internal Audit’s London office and has been with Time Warner for seven years.

“I am extremely lucky to work within the Time Warner Internal Audit department,” said Neillie.  “I am surrounded by a great team who support and encourage each other as we work on audits across Time Warner in various locations around the world.  Everyone in the team is hard working, intelligent and a great pleasure to work with which motivates me every day to perform at my best.”

Emma’s London colleague Nick Betts nominated her for the CAE Award this year, saying “Over a number of years Emma has demonstrated her ability to make the complex understandable; operate effectively in a fast-changing environment; generate constructive ideas on how we can develop our approach; and the tenacity to drive those ideas to a successful implementation, which is why we believe she epitomizes one of our core values of being a ‘world class’ function.”

Time Warner CAE Steve Fiedler added, “Emma is a consummate team player who possesses an incredible work ethic, which has been invaluable in helping us to deliver exceptional assurance services. She is truly an asset to our department and we congratulate her on this important achievement.”
