Turner Broadcasting took over the Theater at Madison Square Garden yesterday for a historic Upfront presentation. For the first time ever, Turner's entire portfolio of leading entertainment, kids, news and sports brands were together on one stage.

"Turner's portfolio consists of leading multi-platform brands, each with a unique voice and identity that is unmatched in the marketplace," said David Levy, president of Turner Broadcasting, in the announcement. "Our brands deliver content that resonates with socially connected audiences across a wide range of demos, from kids to Generation Next to Millennials to Generation X and beyond. We also have data and partnership opportunities that give advertisers the insight and tools to engage our viewers in exciting new ways. Turner's collective strength and reach across all platforms and demographics, combined with our ability to connect advertisers with viewers, firmly positions us for success today and well into the future."

The Turner Upfront 2015 presentation kicked off with Turner Sports' Inside the NBA team – Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O'Neal – followed by the introduction of Turner's all-star ad sales team, led by Donna Speciale, President of Turner Broadcasting Ad Sales.

In addition to Turner executives, advertisers and members of the media, more than 70 stars of current and new shows from across the brands were on hand for the event – Conan O'Brien, Sean Bean, Eric Dane, Anderson Cooper, Seth Green and Billy Eichner, just to name a few. See photos below.

One of Turner's biggest announcements was the launch of Turner Data Cloud, a new cross-platform data management system designed to power digital and linear advertising campaigns across the company.

"Turner Data Cloud will now become Turner’s central repository of data, spanning digital and linear ecosystems," said Stephano Kim, Turner’s new Chief Data Strategist, in the announcement. "This system allows our sales division to effectively bring to market powerful campaigns across all screens, and all formats. Advertisers and their agencies can now transact in any format they prefer, with any data source they choose, including their own first party data."

And of course a ton of new programming was teased for the audience. For TBS, the first wave of new programming is slated for the fourth quarter of this year, with shows from Steve & Nancy Carell, former Daily Show correspondents Samantha Bee and Jason Jones, and much more. TNT announced an eight-part drama and two pilot orders. Adult Swim’s 2015-16 lineup includes more than 30 new and returning series, pilots and specials, including a new comedy pilot starring Jason Alexander. CNN announced two new original series, Declassified and The Eighties. Funny Or Die's Billy on the Street with Billy Eichner is set to become a truTV original series later this year, and the network announced it has greenlit two new series: Adam Ruins Everything and The Driver’s Seat (working title).

This is just a snippet, there's way too many exciting announcements to list them all. So make sure you stay tuned as Turner brands across the company Turn It Up.
