For the sixth consecutive year, Time Warner was named to the DiversityInc 2015 list of top 50 companies and was also ranked no. 4 on DiversityInc’s 2015 and 2014 "Top 10 Companies for LGBT Employees” list.
Time Warner Chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes said of the achievement, “As a company dedicated to telling the best stories to audiences all over the world, Time Warner places great importance on diversity both in term of who we are and what we do. We’re proud of our commitment to cultivating new voices and talent and bringing them into the spotlight.”
DiversityInc recognized Time Warner's strong diversity recruitment and talent retention efforts, as well as the Diversity Performance Goals program, implemented by Bewkes, that ties 30% of executive bonus compensation to diversity results.
To earn a spot on the list, Diversity Inc. looks at four key diversity metrics at each company: talent, development, leadership commitment and supplier diversity.
Lisa Garcia Quiroz, Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Vice President, Time Warner, said, “Attracting diverse talent and creating an inclusive workplace that promotes opportunity for all employees, regardless of cultural background or sexual orientation, has long been a hallmark for Time Warner. Being a company comprised of many diverse voices gives us the ability speak to and engage with diverse audiences all across the world.”
