This Thursday, HLN launches an all-new series called News and a Movie, the network's first feature-film, all-screens experience.

The new series highlights original content on HLNTV.com, Facebook and Twitter to drive social engagement around the airing of a feature film. There will be a dedicated celebrity media panel primed to explore issues sparked by the film, its place in pop culture and the current creative and critical climate of Hollywood.

In its first edition, HLN airs the 1989 film Glory, the story of the 54th Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, which will include little-known stories about the making of the film, the real stories behind the Hollywood versions of the characters, and a conversation about the film’s influence on current entertainment.

Hosted by actress Holly Robinson Peete and CNN’s Sunny Hostin, this edition of News and a Movie features panelists including Glory star Cary Elwes and YouTube star GloZell Green (who you can see in the video clip below).

Glory airs this Thursday, February 12, at 9 p.m. Read the press release to learn more about News and a Movie.
