"Mike Tyson" and "scavenger hunt" might not be two things you'd naturally pair together, but this weekend Adult Swim is making this unlikely duo one. To promote the new Adult Swim series Mike Tyson Mysteries the network will host a scavenger hunt in 10 major U.S. cities, Saturday, October 25, through Monday, October 27.
To participate, fans should visit AreMysteriesReal.com and play the scavenger hunt trivia game, which narrows down the locations of the mini-statue prizes with every correctly answered question. Next, directions will be given on finding Mike Tyson mini-statues in the real world. When a player claims the mini-statue show representatives will add their photo to the official online map. Cities participating in the hunt include Albuquerque; Austin; Chicago; Denver; Kansas City; Los Angeles; Nashville; New York City; Seattle; and St. Louis.
If you live in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Denver, Nashville or Seattle you can also have your photo taken with a large Mike Tyson statute, which you can share on your social channels using the hashtag #MikeTysonMysteries.
The locations of the large statues are listed below.
Los Angles: Venice Beach, Windward Plaza
New York City: Washington Square Park South
Chicago: Grant Park, Grove at E. Jackson Dr.
Denver: 16th St. between Welton St. and Glenarm Pl.
Nashville: Broadway between 3rd St. and 4th St.
Seattle: southern tip of Westlake Park
Fans without an official scavenger hunt in their city will still be able to participate via the online sweepstakes, entering for a chance to win a Mike Tyson mini-statue or a Mike Tyson Mysteries action figure.
Get in on the hunt this weekend and tune into the premiere of Mike Tyson Mysteries Monday, October 27, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim. Watch the trailer for the show below.
