Last week, a group of Impact volunteers traveled up to Harlem to spend an afternoon at an elderly residence home. Volunteers distributed cookies and fresh fruit to the group and spent time getting to know each of the 25 residents. After socializing and snacks, volunteers and residents tried their hand at arts and crafts, using tissue paper and pipe cleaners to design paper flowers. The day ended with an entertaining game of charades.
