Today, HBO GO launched in its second Asian territory – the Philippines – exclusively on SKYcable and SKYbroadband. Residents of the island country now have access to 1,000+ hours of original HBO and Cinemax content, plus the ability to watch series such as Game of Thrones 12 hours after the episodes air in the U.S.

HBO GO is now available in more than 25 markets around the world and on a slew of devices including PlayStation 3 and Google Chromecast.

Carlo L. Katigbak, CEO and President of SKY Cable Corporation, said in a statement, "It is with pride and excitement that SKY welcomes HBO GO's debut in the Philippines. We at SKY feel honored and privileged to be the exclusive partner of HBO for this service, which we predict will be the new wave of watching movies and entertainment content."
