Just days away from the Academy Awards, the NAACP honored Warner Bros., HBO and Turner with three NAACP Image Awards. The awards celebrate the accomplishments of people of color in the fields of TV, music, literature and film, and also honor individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavors.

Warner Bros. and Turner took home two awards. Taraji P. Henson won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work in Person of Interest, and Regina King won Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series for her episode of Southland, "Off Duty."

HBO's Wynton Marsalis: A YoungArts MasterClass received the Image Award for Outstanding Children's Program.

The 45th Annual NAACP Image Awards, which aired live on TV One, featured some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong'o, Tyler Perry, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, Ed Asner and Oprah Winfey, who was on hand to honor Nelson Mandela. Stevie Wonder performed.
