Budding directors now have the opportunity to break into primetime television with the launch of the first-ever Warner Bros. Television Directors' Workshop.

Candidates can submit applications for the inaugural session now through February 28, and the workshop will run May 31 to August 23 on the Warner Bros. Studios lot in Burbank, Calif.

The 12-week class will feature top TV helmers, cinematographers and showrunners as instructors who will teach essential skills for pre-production, shooting and post-production. Workshop participants will also have access to shadow directors on the set of a Warner Bros. show.

Continuing the studio's commitment to discovering and nurturing emerging talent, the Directors' Workshop joins the long-running Warner Bros. Television Writers' Workshop and the Studio's partnership with the NAACP, the Fresh Ink initiative, as creative components in the newly formed Warner Bros. Television Workshop.

Interested candidates can learn more about the submission process here, and follow @WBTVWorkshop on Twitter and Facebook.
