For the seventh consecutive year, Time Warner earned the top rating on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index. The HRC rates employers based on their policies and practices pertinent to LGBT employees, consumers and investors. Time Warner will also be recognized on its 2014 "Best Places to Work" list.

“We’re proud to be honored by the HRC once again for our ongoing commitment to diversity, a priority that’s directly tied to Time Warner’s success,” said Lisa Garcia Quiroz, Time Warner’s Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Responsibility. “This recognition is a reflection of the involvement of our senior leadership and employees, especially our LGBT business resource groups, working together to ensure an exceptional workplace for all.”

Time Warner has a longstanding dedication to promoting diversity and its efforts have received industry recognition. DiversityInc recently named Time Warner the 2013 Top Company for Talent Development, highlighting its support of the LGBT community and initiatives including creating Diversity Performance Goals for each division and the Multicultural Council, an enterprise-wide group of senior executives focused on shaping the company’s diversity agenda.

Last year, the Hetrick-Martin Institute presented Time Warner with its Emery Award for its support of the LGBT community. The company also received the 2012 Corporate Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Award from the Council for Urban Professionals and the 2011 Catalyst Award for creating a unified culture and investing in women leaders.
