Yesterday afternoon, Turner Broadcasting invited media and tech industry executives, press and investors to attend a demo day for its Media Camp, a startup academy for media innovations. The 2013 San Francisco Media Camp class included ChannelMeter, Cinemacraft, Meograph, Plumzi and Tomorrowish.

Phil Kent, chairman and chief executive officer of Turner Broadcasting, gave opening remarks to kick off the event. Following his remarks, five startups showcased their latest collaborations developed through Media Camp's accelerator, a comprehensive program that educates entrepreneurs and enables them to build innovative media businesses.
