ADWEEK and Time Warner recently announced the launch of an exclusive multi-part thought leadership program that gives industry experts a forum to share and debate best practices in marketing strategies.

The invitation-only ADWEEK Brand Genius Think Tank series, which will be held in Time Warner’s Medialab, kicked off earlier this week with the first event. Kristen O’Hara, Chief Marketing Officer of Time Warner’s Global Media Group and Howard Shimmel, SVP Research, Turner Broadcasting, presented high-level findings from studies conducted in the Medialab (see the infographics below).

In addition, expert guests from the Brooklyn Nets, Pepsi, Turner Broadcasting, Maker Studios and Funny or Die, discussed the topic of multiscreen engagement. ADWEEK’s Executive Editor Jim Cooper also moderated panel discussions about comedy across screens, sports and social media.

Throughout the year, the think tank will serve as a forum for marketing experts to discuss changing consumer behaviors, innovative strategies and advances in the digital space. Each event will incorporate themes from the ADWEEK’s annual Brand Genius Awards, which recognize the most creative, colorful and successful innovators in brand-building across the world.
