Employees based at Turner Broadcasting’s headquarters in Atlanta joined their colleagues, friends and family to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by volunteering on MLK Day.

Nearly 200 employees participated in a dozen service projects across the city, with activities ranging from prepping care packages for soldiers stationed overseas to painting, planting and mentoring for community organizations.

Employees also shared their activities on social networks like Twitter and Instagram, posting tweets and photos with the #TVDMLK hash tag. Following the day of service, posts were compiled into a Storify page. Visit the page here for a recap of the employees’ first-hand experiences, and to learn more about the organizations they supported.
