Yesterday, Carol Melton, Time Warner’s Executive Vice President, Global Public Policy, and her team in Washington, D.C. hosted an Inauguration Day Open House, showcasing CNN’s industry-leading coverage of the second Inauguration of President Barack Obama.

From the office’s location overlooking Lafayette Park and the White House, guests enjoyed an extraordinary vantage point to view the Presidential Reviewing Stand for the Inaugural parade. Being able to watch the Obamas and Bidens make the final stroll down Pennsylvania Avenue provided a historic moment, as guests viewed the live action alongside CNN’s televised images and Wolf Blitzer’s commentary. The Washington office was pleased to provide a warm welcome (literally, on a cold Washington day) to a number of visiting executives from around the company, as well as numerous VIP guests and industry colleagues. Highlights of the day are captured in the photos below.
