Celebrity gossip and entertainment news junkies rejoice. Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution announced yesterday that TMZ Live, a one-hour companion show to TMZ.com featuring producers and reporters discussing the latest entertainment news and offering their unabashed opinions – with the occasional celebrity cameo – is expanding to broadcast distribution on 17 Fox TV station
The show also highlights content from the TMZ website and engages directly with viewers through their mobile devices, Twitter and Skype.
“TMZ Live is a truly distinctive and entertaining take on the daily talk show. It is what TMZ does best, offering a topical, fast-paced and viewer interactive format with a fun and honest point of view on the stories people are talking about," Hilary Estey McLoughlin, President, Telepictures Productions, a subsidiary of Warner Bros Entertainment, told the Hollywood Reporter.
With growing viewership of the show among the coveted demographic of 25-to-54 year olds, Warner Bros. hopes to market the show for syndication in fall 2014. Read more about the announcement in The Hollywood Reporter.
